Y7-8 Student Profiles

I attended St Martin's and decided to choose King Edward's because most of  my friends were going.  I am really enjoying all of the lessons and I am also enjoying all of the different sports that I am doing.

It was really helpful to have a visit to my primary school becasue I got given lots of information before I arrived and the induction days were also really helpful because I was shown where all of my lessons would be: it was also great fun.

I attended Kidgate Primary and chose King Edward's because it looked like a very good school and the teachers are really nice.   There are a wide range of fun clubs and it is a really welcoming place: it helps that my brother is here as well.

I am enjoying a lot of things not just my lessons but also the school play which I have been chosen for.  I am definitely enjoying the school dinners, meeting new friends and overall I would say that it's great to be a part of King Edward's.

I attended St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Grimsby and wanted to come to King Edward's to get a better education and to succeed in certain subjects like Mathematics, English and Science.

I am really glad I chose King Edward's and I am enjoying the close community, the other students and the variety of subjects and clubs on offer.  I am especially enjoying netball and the competitions that we enter.

I attended Tealby Primary School and had heard good things from my friends.  The teachers are engaging, it looked challenging and I was up for a challenge! The teachers also have engaging ways of introducing students to the school and its curriculum.

I really like how the the students are a close knit community. The school also treats us like adults by giving us different responsibilities.  I also like that the Sixth Formers have helped me to fit in and we are given plenty of opportunities to shine as individuals with extra-curricular activities.
